Design briefs

Our firm is able to provide services relating to the preparation and submission of “Design Briefs” relating to proposed development schemes.  We have experience in providing a wide variety of Design Briefs.  Some Design Briefs focus on a specific small site while other Design Briefs have focused on a wider area.  Design Briefs is a general term applied to a wide variety of planning tools which are designed to provide an intellectual justification and indeed guidelines and a point of reference for proposed development projects.

A well researched and well presented Design Brief can be a very useful tool in ensuring that a suitable and appropriate form of development is implemented within a designated site.  Most Local Planning Authorities find Design Briefs to be extremely useful documents and if their views are incorporated into the document then they place considerable weight on the guidelines contained therein.  It should be noted that Design Briefs come in a wide variety of presentations and our firm is able to provide advice on the most appropriate form of presentation for a particular development project.
