Our company is led by the Managing Director and the Principal Planning Consultant whose background is as follows -

Mike Jones is the Managing Director of Albion Planning Consultants. He has over 25 years experience in the field of Town & Country Planning. He is an experienced Planning Consultant and he has previously held Chief Officer posts in the local government service which have included the management of planning departments. He has also worked for specialist niche planning practices on major re-development schemes. He has established an enviable record of success in securing lucrative planning permissions. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He also holds several relevant post-graduate qualifications including a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Management.

He has worked for blue-chip corporate developers, local planning authorities, larger transport companies, residents associations and land-owners.

He works for clients on a nationwide basis. His current caseload includes clients based as far apart as Hampshire and Northumberland.

He has negotiated numerous complex planning schemes and promoted complex town centre re-development schemes. He has worked on substantial compulsory purchase schemes and has advised on the implementation of complex compulsory acquisition schemes. He has also advised on all aspects of environmental issues including land contamination, water pollution, waste management and environmental assessments.

A substantial part of his practice includes the negotiation, preparation and submission of residential redevelopment schemes. He has extensive experience in urban design and urban regeneration. He can advise on all aspects of planning gain and negotiate an appropriate scheme.

Our company also retains the services of a number of technical consultants involved in the field of architectural design, landscape design, environmental science and highway engineering.
